Chuck Ellis sits down with Jed Rice, a Marine Corps veteran, Bath Iron Works employee, and Republican candidate for Maine House District 50 (Bath) in 2026. Jed shares his story growing up in Maine, his service in the Marines, and why he wants to serve as a statesman for Mainers struggling with rising costs.
They discuss the affordability crisis and the case for nuclear energy, education and parental rights, preserving Maine’s natural beauty and small-town character while supporting industry like BIW, declining birth rates, and strong families. Jed says he wants to be a microphone for the people, not a politician seeking personal gain.
