I’m Chuck Ellis
The host of the Muddy Waters Podcast, where we dive into the murky depths of politics, culture, and ideas with clarity and curiosity. Born and raised in Maine, I bring a grounded perspective shaped by my roots in the Pine Tree State. With a mathematics degree from the University of Maine at Farmington, I spent eight years in campus ministry before navigating the financial world for over 14 years, rising from teller to branch manager and earning accolades along the way. In 2024, I launched Morellis Marketing Agency, channeling my entrepreneurial spirit into digital marketing and web design.
The Muddy Waters Podcast is my platform to cut through the noise, offering thoughtful conversations and unfiltered takes on today’s issues. As Chair of the Cumberland County Republican Committee, I’m no stranger to spirited debate, but I believe in finding common ground through civil discourse. When I’m not behind the mic, I’m spending time with my wife, Janviere, and my 10 nieces and nephews, or giving back to my community through organizations like The Root Cellar or serving with my church.
