Chuck Ellis sits down with Ben Porter, Republican candidate for Maine Senate District 23 (Brunswick, Harpswell, Freeport, Yarmouth and more). Ben served 25 years in the U.S. Army, including Special Operations, combat in Iraq, and helping stand up Army Cyber Command, followed by 10 years in cybersecurity at the U.S. Treasury Department.

Now retired, Ben is running to bring accountability and fiscal responsibility to Augusta. He talks about lowering taxes and energy costs to attract businesses and jobs, property tax relief for retirees, and putting Maine citizens first.
